belkin wireless router

belkin wirless router f5d6230-3 hooked up and working , but when at explorer page will not find 192.186.2.1 hence no menu,wireless will not connect to belkin wireless adapter or to laptop card. have a belkin f5d5230-4 and it goes to menu with no problem, is this wireless router bad or is there another way to ge to the menu??
i'm using win98 and cable modem,using the router now but not the wireless part of it , cable part works fine..

Does the router have WEP or mac address filtering enabled by default? log onto the router thru the wired part and look around for the option.

also you might want to look into firmware update if they have one?

i tried to login through the wired part but can't get the menu , hence the problem.....using a regular pc also hooked up with 3 other computers trying to use a laptop without using cable , hence wireless but no menu to work with... also you can't update ( i think ) without going through menu...
