You could check out Yahoo.com. Sign up for a free Yahoo! e-mail /chat/ account and get free online storage to go with it. 15MB at no charge. They call it Yahoo Briefcase

It lets you setup folders and permissions as well. All through a web interface, no FTP client needed.

I use www.FreeServers.com -> you can use it to build a website but more importantly you can use it to store files of many types (mp3, doc, jpg, etc etc). I think you get 50MB...check it out
