Mapping network
Hi
I am having trouble with my network transferring files or mapping a drive. Why should I map a drive. I don't know a thing about either. I have a Win98 and XP hooked together with a Linsky router and a KVM switch. On the 98 I have Network Neighborhood and XP Network Places--are they the same. I would like to move icons from one desktop to the other. I don't know how. I can get each computer to say Map network drive and dialog box Map Network Drive calls for a letter but it also asks for a folder. Do I make up a folder or just how can I handle this. I know I sound dumb but I need help-- A LOT OF IT.
