When I use ipconfig /all in 2K it runs and immediately closes. How do I get it to stay open? Same with ping.

Open a command prompt window first then run it from a command line. |

also to note...
Start -> Run: cmd /k ipconfig /all
The "cmd /k" allows any program that follows to be run in a console window (and stay open)

| Hmm. Just tried that in Win2K and it didn't work. Is that an XP thing only?

DOH!!!
So I'm a dunce. I typed "ping /k" instead of "cmd /k ping". <crawls to the nearest hole to hide> |

Lol M_Six.
I already knew how to get ipconfig, but that /k switch is useful to know too. |
