ipconfig in W2K

When I use ipconfig /all in 2K it runs and immediately closes. How do I get it to stay open? Same with ping.

Open a command prompt window first then run it from a command line.

Send a message via AIM to S.D.Willie
just like out said, "cmd" in the run box will give you the command prompt also.

Send a message via AIM to rpertusio
also to note...

Start -> Run: cmd /k ipconfig /all

The "cmd /k" allows any program that follows to be run in a console window (and stay open)

Hmm. Just tried that in Win2K and it didn't work. Is that an XP thing only?

Lol M_Six.

I already knew how to get ipconfig, but that /k switch is useful to know too.
