    VPN's and Win98

I am trying to connect a computer in one of our remote offices to the network in our main office using a Virtual Private Network. I know that the server is set up right because the user profile works on other computers. It is just this machine with Win98 that won't do it. The tricky thing is that it connects and registers on the system but after 1 or 2 seconds, it disconnects on its own with no explanation. It just says that connection has been lost. I have even tried other user profiles at that computer and they all do the same.

    Anyone have any ideas???

Make sure it has the DUN 2.4 update.

What kind of VPN? PPTP, L2TP?

The others are a PPTP. I have had the Win98 machine set to automatic because it wasn't working on any of the settings.

What is the DUN 2.4 update and where would I find that?

    Thanks.
