Netgear DM602 - Limited Access to Pages

Recently purchased the above modem and router RP614(?). My machine's running XP.

Modem and router were configured and set-up. Connected to ISP, but i'm only able to access some pages on the net (eg i can get the front page of yahoo mail and nothing else). Others just time out. I've tried using another modem (USB) and get these pages to load ok.

I've no filtering/blocking set up on the router (and I've tried taking the router out of the equation). I've also tried with a second machine (via the router) and get the same problems.

I think i'm using the latest firmware, but i can't be 100% sure (not at home at the moment to check). Any thoughts?

I changed MTU = 1458 - that fixed the problem.
