More information, please. Most probs with FTP are to do with firewalls. Is your server on a router, or does it have a direct connection to the cable modem?
Many routers have inbuilt firewalls that need to be configured to allow FTP traffic.
So, how does the server connect to the internet? Via a router, or directly?
Cheers
Mick

Not to be a jerk or anything but can you also provide us with more punctuation? I had to read your post three times to understand exactly what you're asking for.
Aside from that..

| windows 2003 web server on cable modem!
I am trying to get a web server up, and for some reason I can not see it from a non-workgroup computer! My server is connected directly to the internet through a motorola surfboard modem, and I have all of the other computers running through a switch to connect to the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
