Arghh, you're making me think! Shame on you! I'm thinking out of the networking stuff I've used, some 3-Com and Netgear nics, Netgear and Linksys Routers, I'd have to say my favorite as far as setup was Linksys. With the NIcs, I can't say anything bad about either really, they both still work just peachy. Never used any of the other vendors stuff.

Which components are we talking about?
For NICs, I like Intel (but they all seem to work fine)
For (home) Routers, I like Linksys
For Cable/DLS Modems, I like Wirespeed
