network connections gone

after reinstalling my video drivers,the network connections shortcut on my desktop still works,tho when i click on it,there are no network connections listed.

i have no way of disableing my internet connection thru windows.

is there anyway of getting those back??

i am using xp pro.


my internet connection works fine. i just cant find anywhere on my computor that shows it does,or am able to disable it.

Maybe go to add a connection. When I reinstalled windows this happened to me but it was because I had to install the drivers for my ethernet port....so I didnt' have internet but also I didn't have a connection listed.....
