The pic of that gigafast shows an external power supply and the description says internal. The description could be correct though. I know the 8 port gigafast from newegg is definately not the one in the picture. I have the 8 port and it seems to work fine. You may want to investigate the power supply thing a little farther. I know that power strip space at a lan party can be quite the commodity There is also this one in the same price range where the description says external power and the pics show internal. The power cord aside, they all look fairly similar to me.

iven if they have internal PSU's they still need to plug in, right? Or do you mean that ones with internal dont have the HUGE AC/DC converter on the cord?

yeah, the old "wall wart" transformers take up 2 spaces usually whereas an internal supply uses only one.

Oh yeah, joker. I guess Arnold is the new Gov huh??
