Still waiting for the mobo repair on my computer.... And waiting... And waiting...

While I`m waiting, been moving computers around, and been looking at Wireless Networking. It would be a beautiful thing to put a computer in a totally different room without wires... But is it worth it?

I have everything I need for the normal 10/100 setup with wires and hub... So buying it would simply be just for house-cosmetic issues. Is it worth it, in terms of speed, reliability, price, etc.?

Just wondering.

do you do alot of large file transfer? are you a secuirty nut?

if you answered these two questions yes, then wireless is not for you


i use it in my house hold because i have two laptops that are wireless. I love the idea of wireless but if you honest have no need for it right now. Dont bother getting it. I still love my 10/100 lan

another thing is even if it says 11 mbps or 55 you will never reach those speeds
