Laptop on Network locks up router
This is really a strange problem. Today I fired up my laptop running 2000 Pro and inserted the Netgear MA 401 wireless card. I could get around my network but couldn't access the internet. After trying, then I couldn't access the internet on my 2 desktops until I rebooted the router, a Netgear. Sooooo, I then put a 3COM NIC wired card into the laptop, plugged it into the router and tried to access the internet. Same thing as with the wireless card. Locked up the router so that the desktops couldn't go anywhere again.
Anyone have an idea what may be wrong?
Thanks

I am wondering why all of a sudden I would need the latest router firmware update, since I have had this all working for 6 months or more. I haven't changed anything. It seems as if something may be wrong in the laptop since the router works fine with 2 other computers but locks with either a wired or wireless card in the laptop. But what?
?????????
