Using Intel Turboboost on Xeon 5500

    Hey guys,

I am at work at the moment and we use multiple Precision T5500 machines at our design department and I have some questions.

The T5500 has a Xeon 5500 cpu, Nehalem based, and in the bios it has the option for the Intel Turbo Boost tech, which I enabled.
But when loading a program called Catia (3d design), it doesn't kick in.

So I called Dell tech support and they told me I had to download the Intel Turbo Boost technology Manager.
I went to the Intel site, but can only find that program with support for vista and 7.

Does anyone know if there is one that supports XP-64?? It would greatly help, because Catia is not multithreaded (don't get me started on that one )

    Thanks for any info.

    cheers

    Pim
