    RAM does not "have" MHz. The mainboard supplies the frequency, and the RAM needs to be fast enough to cope. End.

    ahh i see....i figured a gig of PC3700 for 158 bucks is a preatty good deal....had that all in mind and saw that the Mhz were differnt and got frustrated lol. thanks for the help.

    Should work fine. You can actually push up the latency settings with RAM rated higher than you're running it. That's sort of what people get PC3700 for. Or just overclocking on the boards that will do 400+.

    i know that those motherboards dont say 466Mhz which is PC3700 i believe....but is it still compatible?? like will it still work just not run at its full potention....errr...like "underclock" itself to the memory Mhz the mother board is supposed to handle?? how does this work exactly?
