Well on my system I dropped my cpu multi down to 10x and HT multi down to 4x and raised the reference clock up to 250MHz. I also set my ram for DDR333. The end result is my 3700+ is operating at 2.5GHz, my HT bus remains at 1GHz and my DDR400 memory is running at slighly above DDR400.

Like noony said, you want to take your time. The first fsb change should be from 200 to about 205, not 255.

i dont see any of that except for clock speed being min 200 and max 255

should say it in bios or use somthing like everest to check it

CPU Temperature 39*C
System Temperature 26*C
CPU fan speed 1506-2033RPM

ok your fsb is 200 (or 400) & you can OC it to 255 (or 510) is that what your saying?

if so thats quite a big jump, depending on if you lower/raise your multiplier your clock speed will increase quite significantly.

tell us your cpu & speed & your current multi.

Sometimes its as simple as changing the fsb up but most of the time its not. ou may have to increase the core voltage of the cpu and other litltle bits.

200 to 255 FBS Question

i looked into my bios about the clock speed and it was default set to 200, i was wondering what will happen if i bump it to 255 because it does say max is 255. i got a few ideas in my head as will this cause more heat or whatever like that..
