One thing that i love about Techimo is that they dont lock threads for stupid reasons .

Nevermind, it was just a bios setting under power management. Stupid thing on default wasn't powering down the vga.

Can go ahead and lock this.

    7900 gs problem

Recently got a XFX 7900 gs, came OCed and works great. Now if I'm to understand this right, the fans on these cards are temperature controlled. And they run at certain levels depending on 3d or 2d, which is fine to me.

My problem is this; whenever I try to put my pc on stand by, the fan suddenly kicks on and therefore my pc will still sound like it's running though the monitor will kick off. Then when I resume from this fake stand by state, the fan on the card won't idle back down for another 20 minutes.

Is this a driver problem, a video card bios problem or just a general 7900 gs problem?

Oh and I also tried to contact XFX, but still no reply from their tech support. That's never a good thing, tsk tsk XFX.
