    Internet Explorer Status Bar?

    I'm using IE 6 on Win XP Pro and this is my issue...

    Seems like every time I open up IE, I have to click view, status bar because it's not checked by default. Is there something I'm missing that will allow IE to always show the status bar when opened? I'm getting kinda tired of having to do it manually every time...
