awesome! I saw SyncToy but it wasnt installing correctly for me. (Also I was probably using a download from several years ago when I tried TweakUI).

I never really used it, just downloaded it, so I hope it can do watched folders, etc.

Microsoft just release an updated version that does 64bit:

    SyncToy 2.1
    Brief Description
SyncToy 2.1 is a free application that synchronizes files and folders between locations. Typical uses include sharing files, such as photos, with other computers and creating backup copies of files and folders.

    BUMP

I'm hoping someone in the morning crowd can reccommend either a cheap/free software package for backing up to this drive or a drive/manufactuer (in hopes that this upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday will have sales) that has software compatible with 64bit operating systems....

FreeAgent drive software not x64 compatible

So as some of you might know the Seagate FreeAgent backup drive software (I have a 1TB running through FireWire) isn't compatible with a 64bit operating system. I run Windows XP x64 on my home work PC and I have my 1TB drive which I usually set the software to look at specific folders and it backs them up. Well when I went to install the software that came on the HDD it said its not compatible with the OS. So then I go onto Google and look around and it doesn't take long to see others are pissed that their software doesn't install/work with a 64bit OS.

I want a program that will run when the PC boots and constantly looks at the folders I tell it to and backs them up whenever anything changes to the 1TB drive. I don't want to have to remember to open a program and hit sync (which is what I was trying with FreeByte and it still didnt even work). Preferably something that runs well or is designed for a 64bit operating system would be great. Preferably Free, but if I need to pay a little for a decent program I will since it's crucial to my work (photography).

    Suggestions/Thoughts?
