Actually that was when I first started the game in town I was hitting 150fps average, during the game I get average 45-50fps with a Radeon 8500LE on Athlon XP1600@1.53

Nevermind, i forgot to install sp3, silly me.

    I have a gf4 with an 866 and get around 40 fps.

What are you using to get 150fps?

I don't have a problem with it, I get about 150fps in multi, 25 in single. (try hosting a lan game instead of playing single, you don't get the "dropped frames"

    What vid card you have?

    Diablo 2 and DX 9

I have just reformatted my computer and this time i installed Direct X 9 instead of 8.1.

Everything seems to be fine except in diablo 2 I only get 2 frames per second.

So the question is, is this a dx9/diablo 2 compatability bug or did i screw something else up while reinstalling drivers or something. ?
