    i use zoneedit. they are extremely reliable. no hidden fees.

    but i also run my own DNS resolution server. if you want, I wouldn't mind giving you primary and secondary hosting. just PM me.

    i already have a domain i have signed up for zoneedit they seem pritty good does anyboy else use them ? if so are they reliable also do they ahve any hidden charges of some sort

    or use your own DNS if you already have a registered domain name. You are supposed to have two DNS servers though.

    Setting up your own DNS will not do anything for your own website. You'll have to use a company like zoneedit or dyndns.

    Setting up your own dns is only good for intranet purposes.

    DNS

    i am setting up a website on a cable connection with a static ip. i need to set up a dns.

    how hard is it to create my own dns server.

    or is it easer to go for a free option like zoneedit.com, also who would you recommend
