Make sure that you uninstall your previous version of DC (v.3) If you have them both installed the game will not function correctly. This is my guess on what happened.

Try reinstalling over the Mod, just run the install file again, that could fix it.

i got a problem too! i cant play Desert Combat anymore!! if i start a local game with Desert Combat, it loads the map, and then i see the normal "welcome window" but i cant move my mouse and the background is black (where normally the map should be) the only way to come out of that is pressing ESC!
anyone knows something?

You sure, are you talking about .35e? Umm you're wrong they're are quite a few servers playing this mod, more than a thousand if I'm not mistaken.

The new Desert Combat is cool. Well it's the only one I have dl'ed. By the way from the looks of it, there are about only 5 DC servers for now.
