    Video Probs, Notebook

I have a HP ZD8000 notebook, with an ATI Radeon Mobility x600 video card.

An hour ago it boots up Windows XP okay, then about 3 minutes later I get a TOTALLY WHITE SCREEN! This happens with a Monitor plugged in as well.

This occurs when booting Windows in VGA Mode and Safe Mode.

Any Suggestions on where to start... can I replace the Video Card... can I UPGRADE it, maybe... ????

I've been reading through the video forums & can't seem to find a similar problem.

    Thanks, BILL

It's only whiting out once in Windows?

I assume so, since you said that it did it in VGA Mode AND Safe Mode as well, because, you'd have to be able to navigate in order to get into Safe Mode/VGA Mode.

If I'm correct, it may be an error within the Windows install/Graphics driver.
