    Fan For 7300GS

    the card im looking to buy has a heat sink but i wanna take the precaution and but a fan for it also, are there fans out there i can put onto its heat sink? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125041 thats the card. thanks n im hopeing for a fan thats not over 10 bucks -with out shipping- hopefully from newegg since thats where im getting every thing

    You're not going to find anything much lower than $20 for an aftermarket cooling fan. Besides, that video card will not need any extra cooling as long as you have good airflow through your case.

    Since you havent bought that card yet, heres some advice: DONT.
    Why not just buy a card with a fan on it?

    The 7300's are horrible. Atleast get this 7600GS, which is the same price after you buy a fan for the 7300, and performs 2-3 times better.
    Heres benchmarks if you dont beleive me.

    so i decided to get that 7600Gs..but then looked at other..

    I'd stick with the 7600gs the only reason to run an low end 8series card is for dx10 support so if you are running vista that might be an option if not just get the 7series card. I also noticed in your other thread that you were looking at this power supply I'd strongly suggest getting something better!

    alright well my total set up so far is
    plus my current 80 gig HD n current cd-writer/DVD-rom combo drive
    think any of this needs changing -i cant go bove $300- and im at 297 lol..
