Talking Switch mod on RIGHT panel, lights on/off

    Hi

My mod is a switch to turn on/off 2 cold cathode lights (installed in the window, see pics).

I think that the right panel of the case could be used for severals mods.

All windows are installed in the left side of the case, but you only see it when you are working in your PC. The right side could be seen for any person in yourm room/office, so, mod it!!

This is a rocker switch with led.

    Any comments are welcome.

    Final

you can also buy these kind of things pre built at www.kustompsc.co.uk, they have one with triple rocker switch assembly that are built into a panel that sits in a spare 3 1/2" drive bay!

My two 3 1/2" are full with an floppy and a Vantec Nexus NXP-205.

u should get rid of the el wire.... or atleast make it a little neater. i feel that it kind of detracts from the neatness of your puter.

I agree with pinipig about the EL wire. I usually like to put all my switches in a neat row on the front of the case or just hide them completely on the back of the case. Putting them on the side panel seems like a bad idea to me.

The switch on the side doesnt bother me, it probably is best since he doesnt have to open the door everytime he needs to switch the lights on or off. However, I just dont see the point of the EL... I agree with Idigguns.

Good mods though and props for all the effort.
