Just a thought..
Why not have a fan behind the cpu on the right side panel? so it blows cool air behind it and away... Any comments on this idea? |

to my knowlege, the backside of the motherboard does not get nearly hot enough where that would make a noticable difference, but if you find otherwise, feel free to prove me wrong

well i have thought of that aswell but i tried it and found that the mount for my mobo is to close to the side pannel. but that is in my case. wont it just cool your mobo more then your cpu |

You could always try to direct air behind the motherboard tray with a little ducting from a remote fan. |

If you got a case such as what I have, with 120mm fans and then reversed the flow, that might help pure CPU cooling. The one I have is a Super LANBoy, a good chunk of the fan would blow right onto the heatsink and fan of my proc if I turned it around.
Just a thought. |
