"Lazer" LED mod
One of my friends had me come over the other night to show me this mod he stumbled on while surfing the 'net. Its a slim mount that holds three LED's of your choice of color. He put one on his InWin ATX-900 server that shines down on his CD drives, but I'm going to mount one in the front of my Antec SX-1040B tower underneath the louvers that are below the drive bays, so the whole thing lights up. At $25 shipped with a 4-pin molex already wired in, its a great and easy mod to pull off (mounts with two-sided tape).

Oh yeah, you can get them here- http://www.glowire.com/Lazer%20LEDs.htm

Very nice equipment. The options are endless with a simple unit like that.

Sounds ridiculously expensive to me, LED's, even the blue ones, are only about a dollar, the wire, and resistor are pennies, the case could be anything you have lying around, even a tic-tac box or you could encapsulate them in resin.

Has it occurred to anybody in the Quantitative Easing and Easing crowd that we have a Stock Market recovery but not an Employment recovery because we don't have the reinvestment in our own Economy...
