I currently have these case fan setup
one 80mm LED fan on the rear blowing in.
one 80mm LED fan on the side blowing ot.
one 80mm LED fan on the bottom blowing in upwards.
I will be getting more 80mm fans and i still have 2slots available in the bottom front of the case. Also one available in the rear. I was gonna ask for the best results to setup. So i have 2slots in the rear, one slot in the bottom, 2slots in the bottom front that i can set up my fans.
Note that i have a dual fan psu that blows out =D

It would make sense to have the fans at the bottom-front blowing in. The denser, colder air is lower, so that would only make sense. Then to maximize flow, your rear fans should blow out.
I also never heard of a fan at the bottom of a case. |

Rule of thumb is that you want more fans blowing OUT than blowing IN. You want to create negative pressure inside the case.
You'll want cool air entering the bottom front of your case, and hot air leaving the rear/top.
Here are my recommendations:
(1) Reverse that fan on the rear from blowing IN, and make it so it blows OUT.
(2) Add a 2nd fan on the rear blowing OUT
(3) If the side fan is over top of the CPU heatsink, then have it blow inward (to direct cool air directly into the cpu heatsink/fan) If it isn't directly over the CPU, you will probably have better results if it blows outward (to remove warm air before it reaches the CPU)
(4) Put two fans blowing inward on the front bottom.
Count your PSU as 1 outward blowing fan. Add up the others and make sure you have more outward blowing than inward (or equal number at the very least)
I agree with Bingo.. never heard of a bottom fan Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing. Maybe your case is upside down and it was supposed to be a 'top' fan? kidding

hehe lol yea i think the bottom fan is like a dust sucker but it blows lots of cold air in.
Ok i received the fans and here is how its set up.
2 non -LED fans in the front blowing in.
1 Bluw LED fan blowing out of the side of the window
1 Red LED fan blowing in from the bottom fo the case
1 RED LED fan blowing out from the rear.
Also a dual fan psu blowing out.
Thats 3:3 ratio...its not really negetive but is that good ? =D |

ya i guess that is good but negative pressure acts almost like another fan blowing in so if you could change that ratio to 4:2 then it might be more efficiant...

What you have will do fine. But if you ever order something else in the future, go grab another fan and put it in the back (blowing outward) and you'll have a 4:3 ratio

i honestly always tried to use positve presure, that way yur not sucking air in any lil holes or vents up top that could disrupt airflow or b warm air from the psu. www.svc.com has good shiping an good prices on led fans. if yur case allows it put a fan in front of yur HD, a cool hd is a happy hd. |
