My Antec Case Mod
Ok, along with the upgrade I'm doing soon, I plan to mod my case. I have the Antec Solution SLK1650 Beige [shudder] case.
http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=91652
There is a link.
Anyways, Antec has a Mod kit, which I also plan to use.
And, I plan to make 3 themes for the case-right side will have the side window and in front of the window will feature 3 NASCAR [Gordon, Rusty, and Terry Labonte] racers.
The top will feature the specs. of my computer or just the AMD logo.
The left will eventually feature some Star Trek stuff.

Couldn't you do something besides Nascar and Startrek or are those the only options?

Sorry to hijack your thread but I was going to mod my new case too. Was thinking about a Counter Strike theme for me. What mod kit are you getting? Also how are you doing yours stickers or are you painting it? I was thinking about painting mine black and adding CS silver decals with bullet holes and red blood splatter.

Well, first I would put in a side window, then paint it a gloss black.

September 10th, 2005, 06:31 PM #10I was going to use the Antec mod Jr. kit from Antec, but I decided just to get the stuff from Crazy PC, it was cheaper and would probably be faster, shipping wise. I also got a side window w/ a 120 MM fan. I'm also putting some NASCAR stickers on it, along with the AMD logo. I probably won't paint it too much.

I will get pics., however, I neglected to check and see if the G-Power will fit my motherboard. It's the Asus A7V600. I think it should fit, but I have no idea. Could somebody check for me [as I need to go to bed and I'm running dial up].

Well, this is what I installed so far-the new Videocard [XFX 6800], 3 round cables, case stickers, and the RAM.
Now, I had a 5500 OC before I installed the videocard. Now, when I restart, it won't. I believe its because I forgot to uninstall the videocard drivers. Should I simply reformat, because, the videocard is a tight fit [but installation was easy] and I don't want to mess around with it. So, do a reformat [seems easier].

I have installed a cold cathode on the bottom. However, I want to make a sort of design on the side of the case, so is it possible to drill the acrylic? Also, any ideas for a design.

Ya, you can drill acrylic...but if you go to slow you will melt it...
