AMD Athlon 64 3400+ 2.4GHz, 1600 MT/s, Socket 754
Memory Installed 512MB
200GB 7200 rpm
16xDVD+/-R/RW DL LightScribe drive
Video Card SIS Mirage2 with 128MB shared video memory |

Pop in another 512MB DDR and a new graphics card and you're good to go for gaming.

Yeah is it custom build or a Acer, HP or something?
Add another 512mb of ram (DDR 400, check if it is compatible with your mobo) and a new graphics card.
I'd suggest about a 6600GT  . If you love ATI get something along the lines of an x800GT |

NO, PCI-E is not the same as PCI. PCI is old and PCI-E is the latest slot.
If you do have a PCI-E slot then whats your budget? |

Also in that upgrade you will need to check out what Power Supply if you got for a 6600GT AGP then you will need at least 350W on it |

My Budget is $250 Nvidia or ATI is Fine i would prefer a video card That lets me play Doom 3
and not lack any speed or graphics!!!!! |
