| New case (more or less a review)
Hey guys, I just upgraded my case, from my Antec SLK1650 beige (with modded in Window!) case to a much cooler looking case, the Gigabyte 3D Aurora. It is really big and that's a good thing. Putting in my motherboard in the Gigabyte was by far much easier in the Gigabyte than the Antec, due to space in the Antec.
As far as features go, the Gigabyte has 3 120 MM fans, all of them LED. Plus, the front LED fan on the bottom lets out the name of the case onto your desk, which is pretty cool. And, the case is actually light for its size, due to it being built from Aluminum, the Antec weighed quite a bit more. The side panel has a mesh window, which is pretty neat. There are plenty of drive bays, all of them tool-less. And, there are side mounted USD/Firewire/audio ports. Overall, this case is the best case I've worked with. I give it a 5/5. |

Be sure to leave the review at TechIMO's User Review's section. (Just found this recently) Quote:

I just got the Gigabyte 570 case and was wondering if you could help me out because the cases are basically the same. I have two 1-pin cables and both are labeled Power SW.
My motherboard, Asus P5B Deluxe Wi-Fi, is looking for a 2-pin (pwr & ground) connector. Where do those two 1-pin connectors go?
This is my first build. |

bilbo366, welcome to TechIMO!
The ATX power switch is a momentary switch, so there is no concern about polarity. You can attach the two single pin cables to your double pin motherboard header. Just plug one power switch cable connector on each of the two motherboard header pins, and you will be good to go.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the welcome and info.
Sorry to be a bother but I need a little handholding. What makes me nervous is that the Asus manual shows a 2-pin connector and labels one pin pwr and the other Ground.
So you are saying I can use the two 1-pin connectors from the case on the two pins on the mobo and it doesn't matter about power or ground? |

Yeap, that is what I am saying. Polarity is not a concern since the switch simply bridges the connection. |
