I'm going to install 2 fans for the front of MUH CASE! Mine is blue, but that is irrelevant, anyway, they have two slots for 80mm fans in the front according to the reviews, do you guys think this will help with airflow at all? Look at the pictures of its front with the door open, I usually leave the door closed and some reviews say that fans in the front don't help with flow at all.
Not really a Mod discussion but case modders would know more about this than just the average joe.

I'm sure the fans would do some good, or they wouldn't have put the slots there.. they will probably suck up from the bottom inbetween the front door and the front fan area ..
if you have one blowing OUT at the rear and those two sucking air into the case, you should get some good airflow

Having the fans up front will help greatly with the airflow.

Front fans are generally for cooling the HDDs, the rear exhaust is generally responsible for setting up the air flow. With one in and two out, the exhausts may be starving for air unless there is adequate vents for it to draw from. Open the case and check the rpm of the rear fan, close it again and recheck after a while. If the rpm dropped, then the case is restrictive. If so then add another or a stronger intake fan or open up some venting (the closer to the bottom front of the case the better).

Did you look at my case penguin friend? It has a side vent over the CPU which I can see dust going into. However, I'm going to mount 2 80mm fans in front, and according to newegg specs, they draw in more air than my other to fans put out. Is a PSU fan considered an exhaust fan? Air coming out of my PSU is hotter than air coming out of my case, which doesn't feel hot to me at all, and neither does it to my temperature gauge. |

My question is WHY you think you need to add what will amount to much more noise for very little benefit, when you state that you dont seem to have a heat issue?
If your just doing it because you can, then its a waste
There are much better ways to improve airflow AND reduce noise
Remove the "punched hole" fan guard from the rear and top fans and you will reduce noise and greatly improve airflow at the same time
A tin snips or dremel, and a few minutes will accomplish much more than what you suggest
Youd also get more from adding an 80mm fan to replace that useless vent on the side
And those 80mm Aspire fanguards are a joke
I would replace those automatically...
Try something like these instead... http://www.directron.com/3dfg80b.html http://www.svc.com/svg80bio-jb.html http://www.svc.com/80lacutaldrg.html http://www.directron.com/biohazard80.html

I have a heat issue with my GPU, I think.
The fanguards probably knock airflow to shit, but they look kickass. Also, are you saying that if I put fans there they won't suck in any airs? Fans cost $1.89 a piece.
If I were me, and I am, I'd superglue the fan to the vent on the side. |

Ah so "kickassedness" prevails over heat issue....OK |
