CPU Fan help

On my new computer the CPU fan is the loudest component on my computer and it is a bit of a shame with the other quiet components.
I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+
Will any of these fans be suitable (and fit) and which one should I get?
Web-Systems Online

Well according to Wikipedia your CPU could either be socket 939 or socket AM2, so you need to look for a cooler that is compatible with both. This one is: Web-Systems Online however, Thermaltake is known for sometimes sacrificing noise for performance (cools well, but you can hear it a mile away).

What you really want is one like this: Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 PRO PWM - Aria Technology My friend had one similar (for a P4 though) and you had to put your ear on it to hear it.

Thanks for the quick reply. But will these fit? I measured my fan and it is 7x7cm not including where it is connected. These fans are a bit over.

They say that they have the proper mounting hardware, and as long as your case is big enough, it will fit. A regular tower enclosure should be big enough. This site has a lot more into about the Arctic Cooling one: Newegg.com - ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

Well I have this green plastic thing mounted to one side of my casing to capture all the air and make sure it goes out the vent. I measured it up and the thermaltake one should just fit without touching it (it is too wide to fit in it). However looking at the dimensions of the arctic cooling one it wont fit. So I think I'll go for the thermaltake one. I'm sure it will be quieter than the one which I currently have.
