Quiet Fans
I need some suggestions on a quiet but efficent 80mm fan. Also, are fan filters worth it? Do they really reduce dust?

no need to double post...
Enermax makes adjustable fans that are either quiet or loud dependong on how you set them, good fans. filters are a mixed blessing, they keep dust out of your systemsomewhat, but they also need cleaning themselves...so it's a judgement call I'd say. I dont' use them.FalcomPSX

Regarding filters, yes you have to clean them, but you sure see the dirt build up, which you don't if you have a closed case.
So you could end up keeping them cleaner than you would the case..

I bought vantec stealth fans from http://jab-tech.com/vantec_stealth_fans.html
I bought two to use as exhaust fans ... They are dealy quiet. I also have filters which do reduce airflow and do have to be cleaned. If you have a window in your PC you need to have filters on all intake fans (IMO)
