I bought a new dremel today and I decided I was gonna test it out, so I decided I was gonna make this old gateway case look a little better and dump some extra computer parts in it. Its not quite finished yet but it still looks a lot better than it did.
I was thinking of painting it black and giving it a nice layer of clear coat and hopefully that gives it a neat glossy look to it. Maybe wax it a little after that with what turtlewax I have left laying around. |

Looking good so far. Did you ever put that star wars model in your old case?
You know your dremel can do more than just holes right?

Yes i'm aware that dremels can do more than holes. I have 30 some bits for mine.
Yes I did put the star wars figure in my xion 2 case then I got an ATX mobo so now my 7 year old has it. makes me wonder how come the first thing kids do with logos is take them apart?
This case has my m3a78-em in it with the amd 8650 cpu.
Anyway this logitech camera I got takes much better pics than my old creative one. pic of my sexy PC

Looks good man. Nice job on the window. If you wanna give it a more "professional" look, go down to a auto parts store and get some door molding. I makes it look much better.
And dremels are the handiest tools ever. Love mine! :thumb: |

It used to only have one 80mm case fan in it so I cut 2 more making this the most modified case I have in my rather growing collection (3 including the wife's but she has an improvised side fan and thats it).
This is the case for the very first computer I ever owned too. |

I just got a water cooling setup from a friend at work so I might put that in the case. I already leak tested it and I didn't find any. |

tried installing the kit and I realized that the kit does not have a AM2 retention bracket even though the box says it has one. So I call up the company they say product has been discontinued for 3 years now so they don't make them anymore. Then I can only find i7 and the stock AM2 retention brackets on newegg, microcenter only has intel, and I can't find any on google.
I suppose this is part of what makes water cooling so frustrating.
EDIT:
Just found one that looks like it will work Swiftech Apogee™ GTZ Hold Down Adapter (Socket AM2) (GTZ-AM2-HD) - FrozenCPU.com

| Is there something I am not getting.
Also that is only a problem if you buy the kits. Buy the parts seperatly and make your own. |
