Power Problems
Howdy all,
I am attempting to install a "ThermalTake TR2-430W" power supply into my new Intel DG43NB Motherboard. I have connected the 24 pin main power supply and the 4 pin 12V connector and I am getting no results when I connect the power.
Have checked all electrical connections and I seem to have power to the board(small green light on board when power is applied) however the CPU fan is not fanning and nothing else is humming. As I mentioned earlier I only have the 24pin main and the 4pin 12V connectors attached to the board.
Thanks for the help,
Bill

You may also need to connect the "on" button to the board. Do you have the drawing for the board?

Refer to "G" pins 6&8 on the following link page 43. Hopes it helps, let us know either way.

if its a coolermaster RS 500 its a 500W Power supply, even though it can help to learn what the various specs on the side are, needless to say, the PSU is a decent brand, and should be more than...
