K. is there a link you can give of where your shopping? I'm not sure how the currency converts, and I know you guys have to pay a little more then we do here.

AuzenTech makes pretty good cards. They make PCI and PCI-E soundcards.

What motherboard do you have? The onboard audio may be good.

Those would be the one's I pick. I would personally stay away from creative products. Their drivers are rubbish.

EDIT:
Depending on what GPU you have, the PCIe x1 slot may not be open though.

That would be my choice if you have to use a PCI card

one of the Asus AV200 PCI flavor cards would be a good choice for a PCI card as well, also one of HT Omega's Claro Series cards would be good too.

Neither of the above seem to be on that site, but I'm sure their available down in Australia there somewhere.


Even the Razer Barracuda AC-1 would be a decent card to get.
