Hi. I really hate my computer because I have a ton of games which I can't even play on it cus it's SO CRAP! Soooo, I decided to build my own PC. I'm just a beginner, so I picked some stuff that seemed good and I was wondering if you glorious experts could tell me if it's all compatible, and if it's all good, kthx:
Case\Chassis: AYWUN A1-6719 $3.63
Power Supply: ANTEC 500W Antec Basiq ATX Power Supply $70.63
CPU: It's my current CPU (Intel Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz)
Motherboard: INTEL G31 1333FSB mATX PCI-Ex16 GRAPHIC GIGA-LAN DDR2 $76.99
HDD: HITACHI 1TB Full-speed 7200 Deskstar 7K1000.B HDD $108.38
Video Card: ASUS GF9500GT $88.84
Sound Card: CREATIVE Sound Blaster 5.1VX $23.19
DVD Drive: SAMSUNG PATA Samsung SH-S222A $68.88
Total: $440.54
Please give me some advice, I really don't wanna go and buy all these to later find out they don't work together -.-
BTW: Don't worry about Keyboard, Mouse or Monitor.
Thank you very much! |

Don't see anything that would present compatability issues. Your mobo is should take your processor although it will take dual and quad core cpu's. You did not mention RAM. That board will support up to 4GB and you will want to install the max. You don't specify what you have in the "ton of games" but this setup should run most except for the very high end stuff. I don't believe that your mobo will support more than one graphics card (SLI or Crossfire) so you will have to do with what you've got........ |

Hate to say it, but P4 and a 9500gt is still gonna be disappointing in games. That is not a combo I'd ever recommend for games.
And your prices look way high, where are you ordering from? |

Personally wouldnt recommend a SAPPHIRE video card, but if your on a tight budget go for it! Best thing to do is get an extended warranty and youll have no worrys. |
