430W standard Case Fan.
I may be buying a 260+ overclocked Tomorrow but i wanted to get an opposition on what else i can get.
my budget is $2000 AUD.
*UPDATE*
Ok so ive checked around my local stores and got this list
Gigabyte 260+ GTX
intel(R) Core 2 Duo E8500 Processor

I'm not so good at advising on parts, but W7 (proper/full release will be available in just over a month - so if you're going to do it I would suggest that you hold off installing the OS and go straight to that... Windows 7 home - Microsoft Windows
(Release date is 22 October)

Power supply brand name and the complete specs (or at least the Amps on the 12v rail )would be needed, before any comment on that could be made.
This is one of the most important components, and all power supplies are definitely not alike.

the power supply came with the case its a thermaltake 430W.
I am unsure of the name of the new power supply but it is 800W and should fit fine in the case |

800w means nothing if it is not a good brand name, there are crappy 800w power supplies out there that can't even really do 800w with out overheating.. If you don't have enough juice on your 12v line your video card won't work.
Good luck. |

Good luck. | +1 the PSU is the most important part when it comes to component choices, if you pick up a bad one and it goes it may take the rest of your system with it.
As to your upgrades. I think it is a waste of time going from a E7300 - E8500. Depending on your motherboard you could just get a new cooler and overclock that E7300 to the speed of that E8500 (mabye a little faster). If you are going to upgrade I would get a new mobo, cpu and get some DDR3 a new PSU will do you good regardless as most of those case PSU's are junk.
The 260 is a great card (I use two) and will only need a good quality 500W unit (I run two on a 650W).
Im not sure how much $2000 AU gets you but I imagine you could get a phenom II, Gibabyte AM3 mobo, 4gb DDR 3, 260GTX, 500W OCZ PSU.
