also, would these parts listed by karmakiller require anything else at all? cooling devices? anything or is that every part necessary. cooling can be tricky it seems on the high performance cpus and gpus.

also, any alternative deals vs the case and cpu combo? that deal is no longer going down.

For an OS, head over to Microsofts site and grab a key for Win7, then google for a download. It's free till June 2010, and it's WAY better then Vista. When Win7 is released, you have to pick up a full retail copy then, but that'll give you some time to save up more $.
But the above system is a fully capable gamer box. I doubt you'd have problems playing any games.

The original combo deal is not available- what chip do you recommend?
