Need help with three sytems
Help!!!! Need three systems
Hello -
I need the forums help please. I need to "build" three "client" systems for class. I am so overburdenedthat I am scrambling to put these together. Can I please get some help. Here is the specs. Client is a free lance programmer who develops graphics and animations for on-line content. She is concerned with speed, storage, and reliabilty. She wishes to minimize the cost of the systemsbut not at the expense of her key requirements. She currently runs WinXP pro and wants to continue to use it. She uses the current versions of FLash and Photshop as her main development tools. She works on two projects per month. Each project generates between 1.5 gb and 3.0 gb of data files. She needs to archive for all projects, both for her own use and her clients needs. For the NIC, she has DSL and uses it to deliver via FTPsites and VPNs.
So......
I need two systems, one is low end profeesor was saying I should piece it together for around $300 if I went with onboard graphics. Second system is high end.
Last I need a system..."I was given $10,000 to build a dream system" (of course I would go gaming)
I know this is alot but it would really help me out
thanx
Luke

I get that this is a homework assignment?
You wont learn anything if you just get answers from everyone else.

I'm guessing low end system is for storage, high end for the graphics workstation?
if so, AMD dual core for Storage, or even a AMD Single Sempron, and go for AMD or Intel Quad core, for High end system (what kind of budget are you constrained to for the high end system?)i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

For your system, If you got 10 grand, just save the headache and get the highest Alienware they carry. Though I know, I like to put stuff together too.
