The BEST Computer
Hey guys!
Today at my school I talked about building a computer and offered to build one for the arts department. The teacher thought it would be a great idea and would like me to bring some lists to present to the principal. So this computer would be for video edditing and pretty much everything art related. So there is no budget!
It has to be SUPER! ( they might not accept, but hey, this should be fun :P )
So I can't wait to hear some crazy lists. ( newegg.CA plz )
Thanks in advance,
Nicked

There needs to be some sort of budget.... Its difficult not doing it to a budget and I end up going too crazy.

You will be looking at an I7 setup, lots of memory, possibly an SSD, no need for a crazy good GPU. should be able to do that for around $1500.
Will you be needing a screen, keyboard etc?I7 920 @ 4.2Ghz/6GB//GTX480 SLI/M4 64 GB + 1.5 TB + 2x 640 GB/Corsair TX950/ASUS blu-ray/ASUS P6X58D-E + X-Fi /LC PCK62

I don't know, 12gb ram an i7, and a quadro fx will probably knock down just about any tasks.

Oh and make sure you use 64 bit server as the GPU has 4gb of V-RAM alone.
