Case Lighting Ideas!
Hey guys, it's me again lol. I bet in your head you just thought "Jesus Christ what's wrong with his computer now...."
Nothing, well, I need to purchase a part but we're not discussing that.
For Christmas I'm getting a Newegg.com - Sunbeam Transformer IC-TR-US-BA-WOPSU Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
I've always liked that case for some reason. I got it about a month ago for $35 off of Newegg. However, I'm going to change the lighting. It comes with I think a 6 inch led strip or cathode, and it's either blue or green. There's a fan in front that's most likely green. The rest of the fans that come with are blue. I don't want a blue and green color scheme, I think it's god awful ugly. So I was thinking purple and blue, or white and red. If I did purple and blue I would get 2 12 inch cathodes in purple, on the bottom of the case (inside of course) and all blue fans. If I did white and red, I'd get 2 12 inch white cathodes, and all red fans. Now here's the dilemma. I've seen purple and blue before, but never red and white. I was wondering if you guys could link some pictures of those color schemes and let me know what you thought of them? Even if it's not the color schemes I listed, post a pic of your case so I can see the lighting. I'm really into lighting, so my pc is going to light up my whole damn room when it's finished and still look awesome.

FYI lots of pics in the members gallery
Personally I use to run a UV setup, with a single UV light and thought that was overly bright. Not sure I'd want to run 2-12" lights and a bunch of fans. But that's IMO.

Oh okay, I'll check out the members gallery. I want to have like a control panel or something that can control what lights are on, the 12" ones. Especially if I had 2 12's on the bottom, in one color. And if I wanted a change in mood, have 2 6's on top and be able to turn them on and off.

There are like control panels I get get, that are actual hardware that controls lighting right? Or I can head down to radio shack or someplace and put something together of the equivalent?

Off the top of my head I can't think of an actual control panel that controls lighting. Generally you just mount a switch or you can get a switch plate that fits into one of your drive bays that allows you to turn the cathodes off or on.
