Add laptop turn-on key to 2nd keyboard

Hello, I made my Windows 7 laptop my new desktop. I put all the peripherals to the laptop; monitor, keyboard, speakers, etc, etc. Everything works fine.

I am able to restart the laptop from the new attached(2nd)keyboard, however, I'm not able to turn it back on from a complete shut down from the 2nd keyboard. I must go into the laptop and toggle the on/off key. My question, how do I put a turn-on key on the 2nd keyboard? And which key would most appropiate for this? Thank you for all your help on this forum.

    Welcome to TechIMO!

AFAIK it has to be a PS2 keyboard, and it has to have that option in the BIOS.

Thank you stroyal, I don't think my laptop is capable of this. It's ok as I don't mind opening it up to power it on.
