Proof Case Modding Is Still Alive

It almost seems like a dying art these days but MaximumPC has a sweet gallery of 20 or so newly built and highly modded machines that are proof there are still a few crazy modders out there willing to try something new

Yeah we were talking about it not to long ago, it seems like less and less people are doing wild mods. Then again most of what we modded back in the when you can buy now.

Sound kind stupid saying I remember when but damn cases when I started building didn't have windows, lighted fans, lights ect. We had to cut and mod to get them or build our own. Now I'm all about no lights, no windows straight old school.

Holy shit! Some of those cases are far out. I know what case that is for the battlefield 3 mod.

Ha, thats pretty funny. I've come to the same conclusion. In fact just the other day I painted the clear side window on one of my server boxes because it was too flashy with just ONE, small led fan in the rear that I had laying around.

I really want that Diablo III case. In his post he says that he is "shipping to customer". so I don't know if that means it was a one off custom job for a single customer or if he plans on producing more to put up for sale.

Either way I don't have the money, but it is awesome knowing that the option exists.
