Can't decide on which case to purchase

Hi there! I'm debating in between three cases for a computer I want to build within the following weeks. out of all the cases i've seen on Newegg, I've chosen three by Rosewill :

    - the Rosewill Challenger-U3 (Newegg.ca - Rosewill CHALLENGER-U3 Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ,comes with Three Fans-1x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1x Top 140mm Fan, 1x Rear 120mm Fan, front mounted dual USB 3.0) ,

    - the Rosewill Challenger (Newegg.ca - Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, comes with Three Fans-1x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1x Top 140mm Fan, 1x Rear 120mm Fan, option Fans-2x Side 120mm Fan)

-and the Rosewill Blackhawk (Newegg.ca - Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, come with Five Fans, window side panel, top HDD dock).

What I'm wondering is if the u3 is worth the 10$ extra for USB 3.0 or if I should invest in the blackhawk since it seems to have far superior cooling. Thanks for any and all help!

    Welcome to TechIMO,

I'm not big into PC building like some of the other folks around here but appearances: Rosewill Blackhawk hands down.

Plus I do like the cooling! If you are setting that baby up for gaming a case that promotes decent airflow is really necessary. Supporting up to 8 fans? For my money staying cool is everything and looking good while doing it? That's my choice.

Expensive? For sure... but if you are down with it then that's cool! I would never be able to drop that kind of money on a chassis. But if I could I may choose something like that.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Yeah, the blackhawk really seems like the best one, but I'm still uncertain about the additional 30$. I do plan however on running BF3 on high, maybe ultra settings as well as GW2 and possibly Far Cry 3, so that gaming cooling sure could come in handy !

The Blackhawk is just a rebadged Coolermaster 690 II Advanced Case, with some minor aesthetic changes, for the same price:

Newegg.ca - COOLER MASTER RC-692A-KKN5 Black Steel body / Plastic + Mesh bezel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

only thing you save is the absurd shipping costs on the CM, so of all the cases listed that is the one I would go for.

Of course I'm biased as I have one myself (CM 690 II Advanced)

but I posted a decent Coolermaster one in your other thread, for about the price of the other Rosewill models (Neweggs Name Brand).

if you can find a way to afford the Blackhawk case, and fit it into your list of parts in your other thread, maybe if you can afford a bit over a grand, it would be worth it (my list I made is about $20 under a grand, using that Coolermaster case which costs about $50, so total would be about 1010 or so before shipping added in. But there was a 15% off promo code on the Antec PSU in the list, so that knocks off about $12-15 or so as well, and didn't look to see if there were any other promo codes in the list).

But if you want to see what the inside of the Blackhawk (690 II) looks like with hardware in it.

Antec Neo Eco 520W in the system to test hardware with, if you bought the 620W model, you would probably want to route cables behind everything like in the first pic above for improved air flow and not allow dust to collect on the cables.

for example in my old systems setup with my Corsair TX750 PSU:

    i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green
