FIrst case mod!!
Well, not yet... But maybe tommorrow.
I have two fan holes in my computer, and 4 fans. I'm gonna make room. I couldn't think of where to put the last fan. I already have an Intake in the font, a blowhole on top and a fan in the rear also blowing out. I have one mre fan, and I want it to be an intake fan (1 intake and 3 outs wouldn't be smart) But it won't fit in the front. I tried every combination I could think of. I was thinking about putting a fan on the left side right above the CPU and video card, but that would mean drilling through plexi glass.
Well, I found the place! After looking at numerous web-sites I noticed that a few people put fans on the bottom right of the computers as an intake. That's what I am going to do. I'll put in on the non-plexiglass side, that way I don't see the filter material I have to put over it.
It SHOULD all work, and I'll report back in a few days, hopefully with a modded case!
Oh yea, I bought chrome grills to cover all the holes. And if you want to see my plans, or tell me they suck, here are the pics.Abit AW9D-Max | E6300 | XP-120 | Panaflow 120mm | 2x 1GB G.Skill DDR2-800 | BFG 8800GT | Corsair 650w

heres what i did i put my intake fans right on the bottom so it would pull cold air from under the case inside ( i sit it on top of my A/C unit) it keeps it pretty chilly. but my case has feet on it. if you could get some rubber feet or something to raise your case up that might work for you. you want it to have at least .5" clearance, although i'd try to get a bit more maybe .75-1.0.

Very nice! Keep us updated with more photo's as you go. Maybe you should put together a web site about your mods. It would be a better way of showing off your photo's. That's what I did. You can see it here.
