modding an hp
you guys think it would be cool/different to mod an hp a little..
specs are as follows
pentium 4 1.4ghz 400
32mb gForce2 mx/400
30gb Hd
6 fans 1 120mm blowing out
640 megs of RDRAM

i was thinking this would be cool and different...its already got good cooling that 120 fan looks good with leds..i was thinking a window kit..i have a friend whos step dad has the tools..so its possible...any suggestions..or advice

woah dude you only let the post sit for 3 min before you hit it again. be patient.
and you can almost never go wrong with a window. just make sure you dont have a rats nest of wires

loll..im bein active today in forums..yea i was thinking a window...too...my average case temp is around 34...i have a 2 hd rans in there too..an intake fan...and that big blowout..and regular hsf and psupply fan...i just wanted to leds to show a little more..like right now they show ..but i think a window would look cooll..and yea i've organized my wires not too long ago

why just stop with just a window kit . if your psu will support it go with lighting, cc lights ,lighted fans ,paint it,round cables,go wild and use your imagination
but thats just me

becarefull its addicting once you start its hard to stop
i'm all ways lookin at my computer and thinkin what else can i do. but im not like my friend who just buys cases just to mod knowing that he is not going to use then for his own computer. he builds them like some people build model airplaines. ya, im talkin bout you IDIGGUNS lol

not too bad you don't have to do it all at once and if your are a little creative you can build some of it your self

What are you trying to say, Sam?! Hey Punisher, sounds like a great idea. It really doesn't have to take that much money. If you have the tools, that's the most expensive part! Check out my site for some ideas and tips. Be sure to post some photo's when you're done! Welcome to MY world!!

Don't worry - it isn't that expensive - seriously! Modding is a good hobby, and the most interesting things that people do is more creative than expensive - and besides, that's when its really fun!!! Good luck and post some pics when you're done!!
