what about this case for modding?
I have come across one of the older apple network server 500 cases that look like a little small fridge..it has about 8-10 server trays that can be pulled out. It has 2 redundant power supplies, built in lcd display.

that would be pretty sweet. Plenty of room for storage, but still keeping the old school apple look intact.
