NEED SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO UPRGRADE

my system:
msi kt333 mobo (handles up to a 1.8 athlon xp)
amd athlon xp 2000 @1.6mhz
kingston 512 pc 2700
80gig seagate 7200 rpm hdd
Aopen Geforce 4 ti4200 64mb
Antec sonota quiet case
380 watt psu
Thermaltake Volcano 11 heatsink

im now starting to get more into video editing and will be getting a video camera, i will be using adobe premier, and also i am a gamer, i mostly play counterstrike and just started play bf1942. what would you all suggest i do to make my comp better for video editing? i was thinking getting another 512 of ram, and maybe another hard drive. i dont have much money to spend probably around 200 dollars

Yea, more memory and a HDD would be your best bet. Video editing takes up lots of memory and space.

i dont think you can but if i were to get new memory could i get some pc 3200 or pc 3500 and mix it with the 2700?

It will run at 2700 speeds,,(166 x 2 = 333). You could buy another sitck of Kingston pc2700, or buy 3200 with the idea of replacing the 2700 in the next step. But then you would need to upgrade the processor to reach 200 mhz fsb anyway.

Got firewire? you might want a firewire L bracket, or front drive bay firewire, usb, audio port..

Yup you can mix the ram but it will only run at the same speed as your PC2700 .

so i would be better off getting another stick of 512 2700? and that fire wire thing im not sure but i do have this thing made by pinnacle that allows me to plug in those 3 cords (yellow red white) to my comp

If your camera has a DV connector, Firewire would really make things easier for you. You won't have to worry about setting the audio levels and you can control your camcorder from your computer.

Definitely get more storage. Video editting uses up a LOT of hard drive space. Capturing 2 hours of footage in VCD mode takes up 1.2 gigs. You'll need even more when you start to edit your movies and encode them.
