Ended up being a hoax. He even admitted it on the site he posted the mod.

I dont understand why anyone would get mad at someone for doing something to their computer.
I thought it was funny even before he said it was a hoax. Not like he came to my house and did it to something of mine.

but before he admitted the truth, didn't you feel sorry for the person that he wasted or his parents wasted over $3000 on the G5, just for the cool looking case to build a pc in?

I don't believe it's a hoax, he's just trying to stem all the hate directed at him.

I dont even like macs, but that's just such a tremendous waste of his parents money, and a waste of a perfectly good G5 that some people would kill to have.

I would have used the G5 for all my normal computer work while keeping the PC stored nearby for when I wanted to play games.

If i remember correctly, there was a convention at the college near me. and i remember an IBM spokes person telling a group of people you can put windows Xp on a mac,.. now i dono if its true, can you? would it use the ability of the Mac G5 processor with windows XP. That would be a killer computer.
